Time is flying by!

Life is so busy and time is flying by faster than I can document it on the blog. So many things have happened since the last blog entry and I'll let you read on about some. This picture was taken at the end of April for my Aunt Sandy's birthday party-as you can see, Elly is sitting up by herself now (with a little help and reassurance from a pillow) and Evelyn is being Miss Tude-"Atti Tude" that is.

I have finished my spring semester classes at St. E and are now enrolled in 6hrs for the summer course. This course requires 12hr Monday clinicals, and 8hr Tuesday clinicals for 5weeks! On top of that, there's no prep the day before and multiple patients!! It's just like the real world-so far I've stayed on top of things and have had two successful clinicals.

I've also just returned from my first ever SMWC Reunion Weekend!!! It was a blast! I had an awesome time with great friends and some new ones ;) and felt reunited with the college. There's a new president of the college, the first male pres ever, and I believe he will take the college and all facets into the future with pride.

Pete has had a busy several weeks too. He recently went to a bachelor party in St. Louis with some guys for baseball, food and beer ;) He's also been pulling the weight of parenting around here with me concentrating on school so much he's really stepping up the be the rock in the family. He took the girls out several days before Mother's Day and helped them pick out some flowers and other presents. Evelyn picked out some orange Celosia's and Elly picked yellow African Daisies. He's busy mowing the yard and pulling the girls around in their red wagon.

Evelyn has been busy too! She's recently moved up in school to the 1yr olds class which allows her to walk around and get on some big kid toys, climb in and out of chairs around the snack/lunch table and sleep on a cot for nap time! I was really worried about that one because she likes to roll in her crib at home. So far she's taking to the cot and she's down to one nap per day. She loves bubbles both inside and outside, loves to take a ride in the wagon to check the mail or around the block, and loves to get into everything at her eye level ie the cookie drawer. She wants to do everything on her own, for example, she won't take a bite of corn off the spoon when offered, but if you pour it on her tray in the high chair, she'll pick each piece one at a time. Tedious but very cute!

Miss Elly has learned to sit up on her own and is enjoying first stage foods! She's not liking the babyfood yet but we keep on trying! She is also doing well in school and receives complements from the teachers all the time. They tell me they want more cuties like her! Elly also enjoys sitting in the wagon with big sister and going up and down the sidewalk. She has grown two teeth on the bottom middle and loves showing them off with her big smiles.

I hope you enjoy the blog and keep checking for more Kopetski Family Fun Info!
