Happy June everyone! It's been a while since anything was posted about the Kopetski household so I thought I'd make an update. Hope all the mothers out there had a great Mother's Day celebration with their families and little ones. Our family went out to eat the night before (to beat the crowds at Bob Evans), gave hanging flower baskets to both Mom Sue and Mom Linda and spent some quality time with each other.
Our family would also like to extend congratulations to several "new" or "improved" families out there with little additions in the month of May and June. Our friends Jen/Brad welcomed Macey on 5/11 and Beth/Nick welcomed Jillian on 5/14 and our latest (my cousin) Tessi/Joel welcomed Wini on 6/1. We can't wait to see all of them!
I also wanted to post some newer pictures of Evie and Elly cause their just growing up so fast! Evie is 2 1/2 and Elly is 1 1/2 and their both talking, walking, running, throwing tantrums, and anything else little toddlers do. Everyday is a blessing being with them. We are going to go through some changes soon. The girls will be leaving daycare as of 6/12 due to affordability but will be carefully watched by loving family members from both sides of our extended family. I am going to miss the school atmosphere for Evie because she really enjoys going. But that just gives us the opportunity to make that environment at home with more learning and arts/crafts. So if anyone has any cute ideas, send them our way! By now you're probably starting to wonder about me and my RN test. Well, I'm waiting on the candidate ID # in the snail mail to let me set a date to take the NCLEX. After that it's job interviews, passing that stinking test and starting work. That's another reason why the girls are leaving daycare because I'll be working only 3 days per week (hopefully if I pass the test), and if I don't pass the test this time, well I will be home then anyway.
So what about Pete? Pete is being Mr. Outdoors. He's mowing, fertilizing, weeding, cutting down limbs and making little paths for the girls throughout the yard. He's also started walking/running again in order to potentially run at the BunRun in Frankfort at the end of July. It's a 3.2 mile run through the streets of Frankfort and he could get a medal in his age group for a good running time. This race also gets him geared up for the Blueberry Festival Stomp in Plymouth on Labor Day (which is 9 miles). Pete is being such a great dad and husband.
